A credit check in your own name will show your iva ..it might be worth explaining to your employers so that a 'workaround' can be found.

I have a company Amex credit card Graham. The blurb said I would have an extended credit check? whatever that is. I had no problem getting the Amex card and my credit reports actually show no credit checks just an electoral roll check.
p.s. That was this year, my IVA is still on my records and the insolvency register.

It will also depend if the company card is set up for personal liability (ie you're responsible for the debt) or if the company is ultimately responsible. Assuming the latter, there shouldn't be any credit check done against you

We have recently been accepted for a Vanquis card whilst showing in the Insolvency register. High APR but useful for what you intend to spend on it. You are best speaking with your IP as any credit facilities need to be agreed by them.

Hi,
Posted on here before about Company Cards. They are fine as the liability rests with the company, not you. I have a Citibank one but they can only be used in conjection with the business. I also let my IVA company know too
Cheers

I have an American Express credit card for work. I also panicked when the application went in through my employer but it was fine.
