Morning my fellow irresponsible spenders of old. With all the worry on here lately, particularly involving a certain 'Credit' company, I though I would share a little quirky quote I came across this morning in an attempt to lighten the mood slightly..

“The only man who sticks closer to you in adversity than a friend is a creditor.”

Happy Friday everyone [:D]

Garcks, what a great start for a thread. Happy Friday to you too.
Here's my contribution (don't know who said it)

"If you think no one cares about you,
try missing a couple of payments"

Ha ha, good one ivamess. Perhaps this will turn into the thread of debt quotes.

Where there's a will there's a relative.

Not a debt quote exactly but always liked it...

Perhaps it should be "where there's a will there's a windfall clause"

A timely quote;

'Christmas is the season when you buy this year's gifts with next year's money.'

A fool and his money are soon parted!

Let us not forget that whilst some of us did overspend, other here didn't and are a victim (or should I say survivor) of circumstance of course [:I]

Neither a lender nor a borrower be!
