Would it worth while sending a copy of my completion certificate to Equifax,Experian etc so they know my IVA is now complete ?
The insolvency register have already updated there records.
Would it be a good idea to apply for a Vanquish credit card or something like this to get a credit history rebuilt ?
Thank you in advance for any advice..[:)]

Are the CRA's showing default dates on/before the date you entered your IVA? if so, there should be no need to advise them as the records will drop off 6 years from the date of default. If any defaults are dated after the start of your iva then you'll need to ask the CRA to update their records.
Obviously the above only applies to debts incurred before, rather than during or since the period of your IVA.

The defaults ( if correctly dated ) will drop off but the IVA will remain unless they are informed. My IP, it seems, did this as it is showing as completed.
Either Equifax or Experian ( cannot recall which) will also put a Notice of Correction on file, stating the IVA is complete. This will remain after the IVA has disappeared (giving clues as to your history) unless you ask them to remove it.

Equifax put the notice of correction on ... you then have to request this be removed otherwise it will stay on record forever!

Does the ICO website come up with a named data controller? - If not it may be worth contacting them

Arrow say its nowt to do with them. That canada square ops doesnt have a data controller listed although I have written to them anyway. My annualcreditreport file lists citibank as the reporter of the prudential entry but their website says to go via canada square ops. Real runaround and only a postal address so its going to take ages for a reply if at all.
The citibank site that mentions egg loans is all about reclaiming ppi rather than anything else.

May be worth speaking to the ICO - they show/will have data controllers listed. Or allow the ICO to investigate.
