Hi my brother has said he would help me pay off my Iva but not sure what offer could be reasonable . I owe £2400 any ideas , my brother said he would lend me £1500 but not sure if creditors would except it

I think it depends on the reason for the offer. If you have no equity and no job soon, they may accept. If you are employed with the possibility of overtime and equity, they may decide to wait.

why are you looking to make an offer?

Basically me and my ex have separated a year ago but we can't move on with our life's while in an Iva. I want to keep my home for me and the kids and she is happy to sign house over to me but can't do that till Iva is completed. We also need to settle divorce as well which is why my brother is offering to help finish the Iva if poss

Hi andy it's an interlocking Iva which I pay £50 and mr ex pays £50. We have 2 years left and we owe £2400. Our review is due next month

Your offer seems more than fair and I am sure creditors will look favourable at it. However I would suggest you get an up to date valuation and mortgage statement as creditors may ask for this. Check with your own IP.
