sent in all my papwerwork now just waiting on my creditors meeting in a few weeks- just curious.i have a debt with very catalogue - do they vote at the meeting or do they sell the debt on ?

I don't know about the question you asked but just wanted to wish you well. My iva was approved yesterday and McD made it a very stress free process for me. I hope yours goes as well as mine .

Squig. Very usually vote in favour but as the amount is never very big they rarely influence the outcome of the meeting.

Very accepted our proposal. Even if a company sells on the debt once you are in an IVA the new company has to adhere to the IVA rules. Normally debts are sold on for pennies.

And Ruthlyn - you chose a fab company to go with. Mike and all the staff I spoke to there were brilliant.

here is the worrying thing though.the very account had next to nothing owing on it and my ex girlfriend (that's why im going through an iva we have split and I cant afford my bills or the house anymore) ran up £5000 of credit on the account recently because I owed her money .now shes gone and im left with the debt. im worried very will vote no as debt only ran up very recently
