my husband is self employed can we still apply for an IVA

Yes, indeed, subject to everything else slotting into place.

I would suggest chatting to a few companies to get a feel for how they work, and do check that they are experienced in working with self employed, as there are differences in how things operate. You will need a face to face meeting, but they will come to you.

Two such companies are McCambridge Duffy and Melanie Giles, both of whom post regularly here.

Mr Ivamess and myself are both self employed. We went with Melanie's company and it was all very straightforward and easy.

Yes my husband is self employed our IVA started Sept 2014 running 6 years as we have a house with equity. The problem we are now facing is that of insurance nobody is willing to provide public liability tried the AA as posted but no. Only company is a company who do criminals etc and they are increasing premiums by 400 percent ie £80 to £375
