I have now had my full an final settlement agreed which is good news I now need to sell the house for several reasons. Is it possible to start the process before I receive my completion certificate.

With the permission of your IP you may be ok ... however i think until the closure process is complete any equity may have to considered for your creditors....best check with your IP direct

You should be fine as the full and final was accepted but you will need to get any restriction removed first. As Lulu says speak to your IP who should be able to help.

So I can at least get it ready to sell. I do have quite a bit of equity, but my income (self employed) has dropped considerably and will need the money to support myself. Being 60 does not help looking for employment and still 4 years before I get a pension.

Hi

As long as you keep your IP informed, have their permission and the restriction at land registry removed you will be ok

Good luck
