I can't believe it, variation meeting today, creditors have had loads of notice and not one of them bothered to vote !!!!! IP had to e-mail them all. No stress there then....oh well they might bother this time next week instead. Shame that it couldn't be that if they didn't vote then it was accepted...sigh !!!

Hi crazyjoe90
My variation meeting 28th didn't realise that creditors might not bother to vote, which firm are you with? Did you ask your IP why they hadn't chased up before today, and what happens if they don't vote by next meeting?

i'm with mccambridge duffy who are excellent and yep they had given them plenty of notice. I have to be honest I didn't expect to get a no vote !!! in fact i'm amazed. as to what happens at the next meeting if they don't vote I have no idea....i'll just be gutted again I guess !!

I am sorry we have not got any votes yet but I am sure the variation team will be working hard to get approval. At least no vote is better than a rejection!

it just seems strange Michael that they didn't bother to vote. I attach no blame whatsoever with my IP firm as I have said previous I would recommend them to anyone. Its just that you build up your hopes and the massive down you have when its delayed by a week because the creditors just couldn't be bothered to vote !!

This is very unusual, especially if you have debts administered by the Insolvency Exchange, Max Recovery or Watch. Am sure your IP firm will be ringing round to secure votes before the adjourned meeting.

Quick question on your post Mel, (hope you don't mind) do the Insolvency Exchange normally reply in the time limit (they are main voter on mine!)

Yes - but sometimes they do leave it until the day oif the meeting until they submit their votes.

Apparently TiX did not receive the report which is why they did not vote so it has been resent. They have promised to come back before next week so fingers crossed everything will be fine.

Hi Crazy Joe
Good luck when they do get round to casting their votes. I had no problem getting the votes, but GT couldn't be bothered to ring me to tell me of the successful outcome. I had to ring them. Make sure you know how the decision will be relayed to you.

Cheers Michael....and cheers bridge_player. I do have to say though that McCambridge Duffy are superb and as I've said before don't blame them in any way. I have always had great support from them and they have always helped when needed. Fingers crossed for next week.
