Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone could advise...
I'm a couple of months short of the six year mark since my iva started (i completed my iva early) and am looking at clearing my credit file.

Looking at my credit reports there is one main creditor culprit on each, and they have been defaulting me up to the present date.!

The company is Cl finance in which I don't recall dealing with! The account is for a store card and I think it's probably been passed from Ge money as I had a debenhams card.. My question is why have the company been hounding my credit report after my iva and also why have they not contacted me?

I've got my templates letter with coc ready to send but will this work as co finance probably have no information about my iva? Should I send template letter to Ge money too?

Darren.

I'm sure the company that originally held the debt can be contacted to sort this out regardless of who they moved the debt onto.

I am currently in discussion with Natwest for their inability to remove incorrect dated defaults .... Frustrating it is ! When the six year anniversary is up Send them a copy of your completion certificate and a letter and give them 28 days otherwise threaten ombudsman action .... Not worth doing before as creditors have the right to keep marking your records right up to the anniversary date.
