My partner has been in an IVA for 2 years. We have just had a daughter and have moved into a flat together. His IVA management firm has changed hands without consultation or his knowledge and they are now asking for 12 months payslips and up to date income and expenditure, when his previous company asked for only 3 and never asked for any extra payments.
A) Where does he stand on changing his management firm to one of his choosing rather than the one his previous company have handed all his details to without his knowledge or permission, or indeed any explanation as to why? And;
B) Where do we stand now that we live together? I am currently on maternity allowance benefit (as I haven't worked for my employer long) but have a job I will be returning to in a few months time so will be earning a full time wage alongside his full time wage. Will they expect me to contribute towards his IVA and take my money into account and does it make a difference having a child to support?
Thanks in advance.
