Well after several message to the customer services email at GT, I got a response saying my IVA has now passed the first closure process and has now passed onto final closures for final report and overall closure. They also confirmed that the Mass Variations meeting of creditors agreed that my IVA can close and any PPI can be dealt with separately. I am over the moon as I now have it in writing that I'm on the final leg of this long journey and can finally see the end in sight.
I'm so pleased you don't know! [:D][:D][:D]

I think that their closure processes are improving, so hopefully it will not be too long for you now.

Just a thought, if one completes an IVA early, is there anything you can progress wrt improving credit rating etc before the 6 year point? If not, I guess there is no great urgency in chasing the CC or are there other benefits?

No, Gareth, the credit rating will remain shot for the usual 6 years. However, especially with GT, until you get that CC you are still liable to pay over windfalls or inheritances or the like/ However unlikely it would be galling to have to lose something like that merely because of delays by your IP, having fulfilled your end of the bargain thus far.

I have just noticed the total lack of correct punctuation in that post --- my apologies.
