Hi i recieved a letter from richardson mail who are dealing with ppi on behalf of DFD which says that they have been advised by DFD to refer a claim for ppi to the FOS.The thing is i took out a extended warranty with littlewoods home shopping and DFD claim that all options must be explored but i took this extended warranty out because i wanted my tv at the time protected with extra 2 years warranty.Feel really down about this thought ppi was on about being missold.I finished my iva in May this year have a claim already with FOS and looks like now they want to force the issue leaving me 2015 before i get a CC

My previous answer on the other thread still stands. PPI isn't mentioned on any agreement up to now as it wasn't an issue when many current proposals were drafted, but, legal opinion ( and it is just opinion) is that it is captured as an asset.
Evidently your IP is either of the opinion that this warranty is fair game or is mistaken -- I would suggest that you ask the IP directly under what term of your IVA he / she is pursuing this.
