Has anyone had any experiences with getting their names removed from the insolvency register and with the insolvency agency stating they are not responsible for notifying the CRA's of completion??

I have it in writing from GT that they inform the Insolvency Service who then inform the CRA's.....Experian say they have to be informed by the insolvency service before they can amend the IVA in public records section of my report and to cap it all the insolvency service tell me it is not their responsibility to tell the CRA's that an IVA is completed so I am now totally confused!!
I have sent copies of my COC to the CRA's but after a week they have not updated my record...any ideas???

Usually a copy of your CoC to the CRA will suffice -- but it will take a few weeks to filter into their system.

General credit clean up info can be viewed here:

GT will send a copy of your completion certificate to the Insolvency service and creditors, it is the creditors responsibility to then update the CRAs with that information.

Unfortunately some creditors are better at this that others, so wait a month or so for the information to filter through before you credit check yourself, follow the guidance on the link above which includes a template letter to creditors.
