Hi all, I had a letter a while back from
http://www.cppredressscheme.co.uk who have said that if enough people vote 'yes' to their proposal to pay compensation to those affected by card protection will be refunded but I need to know as my IVA will be finished by the time it comes through, do I need to pay this to the IVA or can I keep it? I make my last IVA payment on the 1st Dec so not sure what to do as I will vote 'yes' but just need some advice as to what to do with the money. Advice, as always, very much appreciated. [:)]

The general concensus is that the amounts involved will be too small for the IP to go chasing .... we have to wait and see for now.

Just a follow up.
I got a letter saying I'm due compensation as they said I had made card protection payments. These were cards I had years before I even entered a IVA :/
Question is, is compensation a windfall that I need to pay into the IVA despite finishing it in Dec (no CC as yet) or is it not seen as such like PPI which has to be paid into the IVA.
I've checked my paperwork but can't see anything about compensation payments being paid into the IVA and whether I need to contact my IP as I have now completed my term of payments. Any advise greatly welcomed as always.

It would probably be viewed in the same way as PPI. However, I imagine the amounts involved would not make it economical to pursue.
