I am glad to see some positive feedback about this firm right now, to counter some of the negative posts we have seen of late. Well done to all concerned.

I think it's lovely to see a positive post and whilst they're experiencing problems with closures one can only hope that is cleared up soon.

Very happy you've had a positive experience.

They have had similar blips in the past, but, just as they are recovering, the management go and buy in another case load, setting everything back again.

This, I imagine, puts a great strain on what we know to be caring and conscientious staff.

Let us hope they allow things to settle this time.

It is good to see good press for GT as they are a very good firm and have excellent staff. By their very nature forums allow people to sound off so the good work GT does on a day to day basis is rarely reported.

but Michael some of the horror stories that are on the forum about the mythical closure team cannot be ignored.true nearly everybody says that during the iva term they are indeed very good at running the iva.but when it comes to closing down cases they are just pants, and it is not an isolated case.i mean not having a telephone number for the closure department is unheared of in this day and age.i think they have just taken on more cases through transfers from other companys than they can handle in a timely fashion.some cases are years old from there completion date.

I take your point and no doubt they could do better. Nice to see there are improvements though.

I agree anybody who has good things to say should also say so on the forum.

Hi All
I would just like to say that GT were amazing all through my IVA and closed my IVA down within 3 months of final payment. Dont know if I was just lucky as I read the stories of all these delays in cases getting closed but would like to say GT can be a good company in my experince.

GT were amazing all the way through managing my IVA, but have now totally shut up shop when it comes to closing down my case. I sympathise with the poor customer service guys because they are naturally the first (and it seems) only line of defence, whilst the gutless closures team hide behind their "no phone number" line.
