Hi all,
freeman jones told me they was informing my creditors my letter on Monday. one of my creditors everyday loans have not stopped calling me, they even rung me twice at work on Monday, and have said i need to make a cash payment no later than Thursday and someone would come round to my house to collect it, I told them I don't want anyone coming to my house or ringing me at work so they said I have to take it to them. really don't no what to do any advice please

As frightening as this sounds, they will not send anyone round, honestly. They are trying to get you to make a payment on the pretence that one department doesn't know you are in an IVA. When they next phone tell them you are in an IVA, state the reference number and the company you are with. Then tell them that all calls from them will be recorded and used as evidence in an harassment case you will be raising with the ombudsman. Try not to get stressed over it as there is NOTHING they can do.

Nobody will visit you, it would be pointless. Bullying tactics to attempt to get a payment. Dont give them a bean and if they phone again politely tell them calls are being recorded and give them you ips contact details.

As MerlinL14 and plasticdraft have said, the creditors are basically trying it on, in the hope that you'll make an additional payment to them.

Whilst in an IVA there is no further action a creditor can take against you so please try not to worry - easier said than done I appreciate.

Please email me your reference number to info@freemanjones.com so I can locate your case. I'll then get our creditor liaison department to call Everyday Loans and get these calls stopped for you.
