Hello

Could anyone offer some advice think I've made a mistake.

I currently bank with Barclays who my main debts are through, I've started the IVA process and my meeting is taking place on 26 sept.

I've set a new separate bank account up with lloyds tsb and have had my salary sent to this new bank and all is in order, what I did was though was to use the switching service to transfer direct debits. This was 3 weeks ago and thought it would be sorted by now.

Problem is my Barclays account has been suspended this morning probably due to the iVA process, my worry is though that the switching service hasn't completed as they are not showing on my online banking with lloyds.

Will Barclays tell lloyds that I'm going through and iva when they try and transfer my direct debits I'm worried I lose my banking with lloyds now too.

Thanks for any advice

Alan

I would ring round your direct debits yourself and provide them with the new bank details immediately so that they can use these.
