I have been on an i.v.a 4 the past 5yrs & it is near to the time of completion i have started getting demand letters & Court letters... my ex husband has removed me off the i.v.a, surely they would of needed my Signature 2 carry this out ? ManyThanxs

Hi -- have you been making the payments and is the IVA in your name ? Your Ex cannot remove you from the IVA. Have a word with the IP to see what is going on.

Wow, never heard of this before but as foggy says check with your IP what has happened as can't see how he can touch your IVA as they're individual but could be interlocking.

Hi,
You cannot be taken off the your IVA without your permission, even if it is a joint IVA.
Speak to your Supervisor (Insolvency Practitioner) as soon as possible to seek clarification on the matter.

This makes no sense at all. If the payments have been met for your IVA you have nothing to be concerned about. If however, you split up and you relied on him to make the payments there could be a problem.
Who was actually paying the IVA?
