Ok im confused I have a creditors meeting in a weeks time and just had one of my creditors on the phone completely oblivious to this fact, is this normal? im I missing something shurly they should have been informed by know.

Nope that's completely normal, don't worry. I had that to start with. It takes a number of weeks for everything to filter through.

Did you disclose this debt to your IP and, if so, was it left out of the IVA proposal?

The proposals are usually sent to the appointed agents of the banks. This can mean that some creditors may not be aware initially but you may also have been dealing with some call centre in a far flung corner of the Earth!

Do not worry and good luck for the meeting. You will probably receive calls and letters post approval as the banks can be slow to update their systems.

Don't finish work till 5:30 conal has been my adviser not my IP but he has been gathering all my details.
