I was under the impression that I had 2 payments left to make on my IVA but just to be sure I asked DFD for confirmation.

"I have reviewed your case and confirm that you have one payment outstanding on your IVA".

I am waiting for the PPI to be sorted but in 11 days I make my FINAL payment.

Hi Broke n Down. I don't want to burst your bubble, but we paid our last payment to DFD in October 2012 and are still waiting for a variation meeting to close our case.
We have 1 x PPI claim outstanding which is being handled by EIF. The PPI claims started in April 2012.
Despite paying 100p in the £ plus fees, we may even have some money back its still not closed. After posting on here the other week, I have been dealing with someone from DFD who has been very helpful and got the ball rolling on the variation meeting (still waiting for a date) They are going to keep the last PPI separate and hopefully close the case due to paying 100p in the £ plus fees.
My advice to you is to keep chasing DFD and if EIF are handling the PPI for you keep chasing them too. Keep a log of all your calls and conversations, and hopefully yours wont take as long as mine has.
We are finally getting there, but only because I have chased them constantly.
Good luck

I am just happy to be rid of the millstone payment every month. PPI reclaiming is at an advanced stage and once that is complete, I will be pestering DFD on a weekly basis.
