hi all hope some one may be able to help.
the wife had some trouble at work and has been demoted from her job.she is appealing against the demotion.
my question is her hours and wages have drop a lot we think about £6000 pa in wage. we have been in a iva for about two years now and my renewal is due shortly.my wife is looking to move jobs or take on another job. to try and make up the short fall.in the mean time i know i need to let my ip know but will this fail my iva or do you think we should be OK?
i hope some one can advise. sorry if this is a hard read im not great at writing things.

Hopefully your IP can sort something out, either by way of reduced payments or a break.

Who are you with ?

Do you have provisions already built into your IVA for payment breaks? Of so, it may well be time to invoke one as this will reduce your disposable income by around £350 I woudl guess after tax and NI.

How successful does she feel the appeal will be? And does she work for a large or small company?

I hope that they are aboe to help your wife magpie. Demoting someone at work is humiliating and as you know can have a huge effect on the family finances. Good luck and hopefully she can look around for something better paid in the meantime.
