Is it normal for ur credit file to not show ur IVA? I have checked with equifax and Experian. It was a joint IVA with my wife and neither of our files show it. It only shows the defaults.

Are you on the insolvency register? How long has your IVA been running?

Yes we are registered on the insolvency register. IVA has just been settled early as of this last month and was running for 1 year. I have been regularly checking our credit ratings and it's never been on them.

Have you looked in the other sections? It isn't included in the main default section.

Yes I checked the correct sections but no sign. Think I'll let sleeping dogs lie as its not my responsibility to keep it updated

I would check with Experian as well, they have mine showing as still active although it was completed last July

Hi Richard - it may be worth checking with your IP as it should be on your credit file. You want to ensure that at the end of the 6 year point it would be off your file, so if it is to appear make sure it has the right start date on and not starting from now otherwise you could be a year behind!
