Hi adiellis and welcome to the forum

What is actually holding up your closure - is it something to do with them claiming mis-sold PPI from your creditors?

Hi Melanie thanks for the reply.

Yes it is mis sold ppi where one company seem not interested in replying to the claim which was started well over 12 months ago,Surely they must have responded to the claim by now, also i have been told that theres meetings taking place with regards to deed of assignment which may help my case but all im getting told is its in the hand of the solicitors which is also dragging on a while.
starting to think bankruptcy would of been easier and quicker way to go.

I am sure that they are doing all they can to chase things along for you. Not sure what you mean by calling a creditors meeting to effect a deed of assignment. I know that they are using deeds of assignment in order to be able to close cases, so you might need them to clarify a little more about what is exactly being done to bring closure to your case.

There is a Varden Nuttal representative who occasionally posts on the forum, so hopefully he might spot your post and be able to help you directly.

Varden nuttalls are still not closing cases with outstanding ppi claims,Its in the hands of there solicitors is what i am being told, but with most ppi claims replied to well over 6 months ago surely there must be something that can be done to press for a reply from this company we are waiting for, which i am sure if anything it will be pennies.Feels so unfair to have my life on hold due to this.

Well they have just received the guidance note on PPI from the regulatory bodies, so hopefully this may speed things up a little for their clients. Do you know what the solicitors are actually advising or doing right now? Are there concerns regarding set-off from creditors perhaps, which may be taking time to work through?

By the sounds of you know more than i do ,All i know its in the hands of vardens solicitors(which is all i ever get told) but it is a lengthy document so it will take some time to get sorted.I could understand if i had just finished but an extra 2 years seems to be very unfair.

I serve as a director of the Debt Resolution Forum with one of their directors, so we do occasionally chat. I would suggest that you now get chapter and verse from them as to the current status of your IVA, and the specific reasons in your case which are delaying its closure.
