Does PPI from a loan taken out 10 years ago get treated differently to a loan that does not form part of the IVA? Im really confused as ive just read something online that says it is different, of course I know you cant trust everything you read lol x

Not a windfall - but an asset to which the IVA creditors may well be entitled.

Only reason i am going to contest it is due to my previous post id really like to pay my IVA off and come out of it and just keep my other half in one the PPI is from a loan i paid off myself solely and would really like it to go to pay mu debts off completely as it was solely my loan in my namewhich if i had known ia what i would have done i dont see why my partners creditors should benefit when it was nothing to do with him i think my creditors should get it to be honest im not wanting to keep the money i just want to pay my debts of with it but my IP doesnt agree they say im basically stuck with my partner for six years i agreed to it so tough basically.
