The iva stays on file for 6 years from when it started so as long as its within the 6 years you will struggle to find a decent deal if any at all. Use a whole of market broker but expect to need a substantial deposit and pay a higher interest rate than those with good credit.
Even people with a couple of late payments who havent been declared insolvent are struggling to get new mortgages so the iva may well put most lenders off.

did you complete with a full and final? as I know in December you were enquiring about finishing your IVA early. Well done on a quick turnaround. A lot are still waiting for their completion certificate.

We have a couple of forum experts who deal with mortgages for people with bad debt history...their details can be found on the left hand side under ask the experts. Ryan has successfully gained mortgages for a number of members in the last 12 months and comes highly recommended.
