Hi my question is if you receive a windfall or release a pension early. Would you be expected to pay all or 50% into your IVA? The amount is approximately £6000.

Hi, I feel the answer will be in your proposal as to how windfalls are deal with. Release of a pension I don't know but am sure one of our experts would be able to advise

Your pension should be excluded from the IVA Emma.

Rang our IP today and we were informed we would have to pay 100% of the pension
In as it's classed as a windfall.

Hi
I think if you take a lump sum from your pension early it may be deemed a windfall, best to wait until IVA completed before drawing down any pension

Depends on the terms of the IVA Proposal I guess. I always make sure that my proposals completely exclude all pension funds - including cash lump sum drawdowns.
