Spanna's IVA was unfortunately rejected and, as far as I'm aware, debt tired's meeting was adjourned to 11th March.

Hi,

I was wondering also if Spanna or Debt tired had heard anything. Good luck for Monday for Debt Tired. I thought Spanna also had her meeting adjourned but for Friday (8th). I hope they both have some good news to share soon.

Big virtual hugs to Spanna and Debt Tired xx

Oh thank you so much, I was going to ask if anyone had heard from Spanna as her 2 weeks was up yesterday. Mel is still working on ours - we have increased our offer thanks to family and am hoping it will be accepted.

My husband's IVA was accepted we've since discovered, but not mine. The ironic thing is, the creditors who are owed the least are the ones objecting. If needs be we'll try for a contributory IVA instead of the F&F, but as things stand they are wanting a monthly payment TWICE what we were offering, and I really don't think we can manage that.

Feeling down and sad this week - didn't even go on the forum for a few days - though you can't keep me away for long! Am just praying for a good result on Monday. Does anyone know what happens if nothing has been agreed by then. Is that the end or is it adjourned again?

Thank you all for your kind thoughts - just in the lap of the gods now.

I am afraid to report that Spanna and her partner's IVAs were rejected, due to the Student Loan Company demanding a dividend of 40p in the £, without any thought of how this might be achieved.

Ridiculous and unfair hurdle rates like this are largely (and thankfully) a thing of the past, and we don't come across this creditor that often (thankfully) as they are incredibly instrasient and uncommercial. Whilst most student loans are exempt from the IVA process, infortunately these debts were not.

I think that Spanna and her partner are now considering bankruptcy proceedings - Student Loans deserve to get nothing, but unfortunately there are a lot of other creditors who are suffering as a result. Shame on them.

I feel so much for spanna....not nice when all around are having there IVAs accepted. Mel's right the student loan company don't deserve anything .....it is sad though as now other creditors potentialy will get far less in bankruptcy .....

Here's hoping spanna has a successful few weeks in there planning and they are abe to move forwards.

Debt tired ....hoping you wil have news today x
