hi...having finished our iva dec 2012..
we have (february 2013)had around £15.000 or so paid back to our iva practitioner from ppi claims...they then sent us a letter to sign ..basically amending our iva..to include the ppi claim back money..when we had the paperwork,it did state that any interest on these ppi claims would be paid back to us as an incentive !!does this mean then that we will get the interest ?
thanx...

Hi Steve, may not apply to all firms, but I was told that the sweetener of allowing interest to be retained would not be back dated -- so, if they already have it they will keep it! So much for co-operating !

I received just under £550 in interest just before Christmas - very handy. I informed HMRC and will be paying £92 tax on it this coming tax year.

Hi Steve.07. Welcome to the forum. You'll need to confirm this with your own IP. I'm with Payplan, and they've said we'd receive the interest element - 8% I think. It would be great if this applied to you too!! Good luck, and please let us know!! x

I wonder what position I'm in - pretty sure there wasn't any PPI but know that others have thought that and it turned out to be wrong. Made F&F payment last July and signed forms about PPI soon afterwards but as far as I know nothing has turned up yet. Being with GT though I'm not convinced I'd actually get told anything anyway so maybe some has been found.

Tbh would prefer it to have been done and get the CC sooner and not get the interest but I shall just wait for a while....
