Hi,
Ive had a call from a company today saying they were calling on behalf of debt free direct with regards to VAT I can get back from my now completed IVA. Is this all above board or do I need to worry!
Thanks

Hi Sam

I'm not a 100% on this as I've not come across it before. I would contact DFD and ask if they have passed on your details to anyone regarding this, as if they had they should of told you.

There are so many scams going on out there, I wouldn't give them any details, speak to DFD.

Let us know how you get on.

Hi. Are you sure it was VAT and not PPI?

In any event, without prior warning from my IP I would treat such calls as unsolicited at best and scams at worst

Hi Sam and well done on completing your IVA.

How long ago did you complete? I also second what everyone has said here, the company that DFD deal with are called EIF and to be honest I wasn't sent anything until i got the pack from EIF to sign etc, no communication from DFD but then again that doesn't surprise me now.

I would definately get in touch with DFD if you can and see if they have sanctioned this, then i would definately inform them that they should've communicated this with you beforehand too, good luck.
