PO should be able to give you the details, along with a copy, of the signature of the person who signed for it.

Tell your IP to find it or you will refer this to their regulatory body, who, I am sure, will take a dim view of the loss of sensitive paperwork.

Can you get a copy of the signature that signed for the letter online using the tracking number on your certificate of posting? not sure but if you can will probably help trace the documentation and if it doesn't it will prove you sent it and hopefully they'll give you a bit of grace to send it again and pay this time for the postage!

You should be able to put the number in and it will tell you that it has been delivered and most times there is a link to check the signature electronically.

I think it's called Track and Trace on the Royal Mail website and you can do that at anytime.

Hi Debbie, Niobe is correct, as you sent it special delivery there is a number on your receipt, this can be entered into the track and trace area on the post office website and that will confirm it has been delivered, however it would appear that the post office have already vebalised this to you anyway. I would put this in writing to your IP, send a copy of the receipt and hopefully he/she will then start to look within their own establishment and try to find it. Good luck and hope this gets sorted for you.
