I have been in touch with my IVA company asking them to write a letter to my old bank to claim for a PPI payment. I have chased this up but don't seem to be getting anywhere and I don't understand why it's taking so long. Anyone have any advice?

Hi and welcome.
Most companies do the chasing these days for PPI.
Which company are you with?

Hi Sam. What have your company said to you about this? IP's don't normally chase PPI themselves, but sub out to a claims company.
Who are you with ?

Are you a client of mine Sam? I think I may recognise your query, and if my hunch is correct then we are presently awaiting legal advice as to the best way of dealing with this for you. I am not holding matters up unecessarily - but we have to be sure who is entitled to receive the money.
If I am not correct, them I apologise for poor detective work.

Hi Melanie. Yes I am a client of yours. I'm not trying to be difficult! I explained to one of your colleagues that I was happy for whatever money received to go into the 'pot'. The Financial Ombudsman gave the opinion that I had a good case so just wanted what helped me get into the mess I'm in to be paid back!!
