Hi all,

Just a quick one, a family member has offered to make a F&F offer by paying it off via a credit card.

Has anyone done this before? Or does anyone know if it can be done? What do the IP or creditors need to see, is it just written confirmation from the person?

Don't really want to go into figures but any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much.

Hi there and welcome, a letter stating what money is available for the F&F and make sure it states it's only avaialble for this.

How to pay I've no idea, I would have thought a cheque or bank transfer would be preferable but I've no idea to be honest. One of our experts will advise I'm sure. x

I doubt whether your IP firm would be able to accept a credit card payment - but perhaps some of the larger outfits do. As with any form of third party offer, proof of funding and confirmation of the ID of the funder will probably be required.

Hiya.

Thank you for coming back to me. I spoke to my IVA company today and they were very helpful. I will be submitting my F&F offer in writing tomorrow so I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Thanks again :-)
