We are thinking about transferring bank accounts. Can I just check if rbs is linked to lloyds at all? We want a lloyds tsb account but want to make sure. It looks like they used to be linked years ago.

Thanks

Lloyds TSB are being forced to sell a number of their branches as part of Project Verde.

These are being sold to the Co-op. A list of affected branches are here - http://www.lloydstsbtransfer.com/docume ... anches.pdf

RBS have no connection to Lloyds TSB.

Lloyds TSB are however now connected to Halifax and Bank of Scotland. Though I had debts with Halifax, pre the Lloyds take over, I was able to continue to use my Lloyds TSB account and no money has ever been ofset against the Halifax debts I had whilst in a IVA.
