Me.....ummm....again [:p]

Just wanted to give an update and offer some hope to those of us mid closures with DFD, and the whole ppi and vat mess that's going on.

I finally revived an email today from Judith, the lady who dale with all complaints etc at DFD to advise me after the final meeting with my ip and agreement to let the 2 small ppi payments that had been offset go that my case has now officially been passed to closures who advise completion certificate will be with me in 2-3 weeks [;)]

So those still slogging away in the closures process please do keep hope, it is being sorted (eventually) and if your unhappy with the service your getting do complain to your ip directly, it seems the best way to get things moving with DFD!!

Judith from DFD has been great in moving things along and ensuring I'm keep in the loop at all stages!

Good for you and well done to Judith in doing a sterling job in dealing with this for you. Hopefully that completion certificate is not too far away for you now.

Hi Arty that is fantastic news for you as i know how frustrated you have been, good luck and lets hope that by the end of September you have that all important piece of paper.

I'm going to ring EIF tomorrow and get an update as i haven't had once since having phoned them last week regarding how my case is going as once that is closed then DFD will hopefully them pass me onto the closure department, fingers crossed. xx

Looks like you are getting close arty

Next week wlll be 2 months since the variation meeting needed to allow closure and 5 months since my final payment; that said I'm on hols at the moment so who knows when I return home in a weeks time the completion certificate could be there for me, but knowing my luck it will be the gas,elec & water bills that are sat behind the front door !!
