Is it common for IVA's to be accepted even with some modifications or do a lot of them get turned down by the creditors so your then back to square 1 ?

I've not read of a rejection on here in a long time.

Its ours this week so fingers crossed i am not in the percentage that get turned down..The waiting is awful and everything seems to be such a mess..Trying not to think about it..But you cant help it no matter how many times you push it out of your mind it comes back.

Around 90% of all IVA proposals put forward now do actually get accepted, and a lot of firms work to much higher results as well. In my own firm we get over 98% of cases presented accepted by creditors - usually with some form of minor modification.

It can be difficult with HMRC being sometimes very anti-voluntary arrangements, where I guess we get the majority of our rejections from.
