how long will name stay on insolvency register once completion certificate arrives

It should come off within three months. It is usually sooner than that though, depends how busy the Insolvency Service are.

I got my completion certificate from GT week last friday and I was off the insolvency register the following Tuesday. Just keep popping in everyday to check.

Just echo the above, 3 months is the guidelines, but often if you have had an extension due to VAT or PPI, then it can happen quickly after the completion date, mine was a week. Just keep checking!

Within a day of clicking on "Report Error" and telling them I am in possession of said certificate.

Of cause it may have just been a coincidence.

Hi there, after our cert was issued we dropped off within 5 days... keep checking but I wouldnt imaging you would have any problems.

Mine was removed within a day! Couldn't believe it. Just waiting for my credit files to update and all should be right again [:D]

Mine was off it in just a couple of weeks, it could have been quicker though as I wasn't checking every day!

Hi, I have been told by the insolvency service that it is 3 months from the date on your completion cert max. They will mark it as completed though.

Mine was off within a week

we had our c of c on a saturday, i checked the register on the wednesday and we had gone.

It generally depends upon the workload of the Insolvency Service, who do seem to have rather speeded up the process in recent months.

Ours came off 3 months after completion. Annoying as others were removed immediately, however those 3 months went pretty quickly!
