I finished my IVA in September 2011 and I am still waiting for my closure certificate from DFD.I phoned them today and asked about the hold up and they just keep fobbing me off. I thought that after 6 years my credit record would be clean but I have now been told that it will not be without the closing certificate.I really wish I had not dealt with DFD they are only in it for the money.

You need to contact your own IP to ask them to clearly confirm in writing why your case is taking so long to close. I suspect that it may have something to do with PPI reclaims or VAT refunds, but you should be given a clear answer which does not leave you feeling you have been "fobbed off"
