gold goes to Niobe....lesley you get the Silver !
You could try her
firstname.surname@debtfreedirect.co.uk .....this appears to be the normal set up of their email addresses !

I've just had an email from DFD and the email was first initial
surname@fairpoint.co.uk so it should be
emccinon@fairpoint.co.uk.

Thank you everyone. To be honest I don't use this site as much as I should. I am due to finish my IVA and only have 5 more monthly payments to go, I have only heard from DFD once this year and that was to ask for mortgage statement, I sent it them and have not heard anything since! Is this normal, I do not have any idea what is happening with the end of my debt as there will still be around £4,000 left ?

I would ask them to update you with exactly what you have left to do so that there are no surprises at the end

Thank you Liz. I cannot believe I am nearly at the end, it seems such a long time ago I started it.

Anyone that posts on the forum albeit asking for advice or giving advice deserves gold. To make that first post is a huge milestone and I don't have all the answers in fact I have very few but I would like to think I can reassure someone until expert help comes along without being judgemental.
To the original poster I sincerely hope you get the answer about the mortgage statement you want, and good luck with the remaining 5 months. x

Hi and welcome SDS44, i sent in my mortgage details in september of last year and got a reply early in January of this year, i think what you will be told if what i was told by DFD when i enquired is that they are prioritising those that are very close to closure, how close is anyone's guess hopefully you will hear something within the next few weeks, good luck and fingers crossed. x

Thank you orchid5. Please can I ask what they said to you because as I said I'm expecting to finish in Jan and still have around 4,000 outstanding. I have no idea what to expect. Any info greatly received as I just want to see and end to this mess
