I'm losing the will to live! Finally after 6 long years I've made all my payments + a small (£5) payment cos of some overtime (which I have no idea when I actually did overtime) and I was hoping that was the end of it! I cant get a straight answer from my IVA company as to what happens next or how long it will take. PLEASE HELP???

All IP's are different but my last IVA payment was in March 2012 after 6 years and I'm still waiting for my closure certificate from DFD.
Hopefully your IP will send yours sooner.
Good luck

Which IP are you with confuddled? Not GT by any chance is it - getting a straight answer from them seems to be difficult, a situation to which I can attest.

Well you might get lucky. I see Karol/Grant Thornton has been answering selected posts today - sadly not all of the questions being raised are being answered but you might be one of the lucky ones to get an answer.

I'm not fussed if it takes a while for the CC to come thro - just so long as I know! The way it was explained when we started is that it would just be a few weeks 'admin' at the end and then all be done! Seems not!

That's what we all thought. In my arrangement (court paperwork) it actually states that the final dividend will be paid within three months of the final payment, but GT told me 5 months, then when I chased recently after nearly nine I was told that they'd done some work back in March but it appears to me like nothing had been done or chased since then, and now I'm waiting another three weeks for an update.
There appears to be no end in sight yet - I'm sickened and depressed by the whole situation as it looks like it could go on for another nine months judging by some of the recent posts here (which GT just happen to have missed responding to...)

GT have had their problems but at least Karol is around to hopefully sort them out.

That's a bit of a stretch, isn't it?
This situation is down to bad communication on the IP's part (the same problem I'm having), not mis-selling or bad advice.

A selected few, maybe...

I doubt that this poster is suffering as a result of being mis-led or mis-advised Terry. This matter relates to the delay in their case being closed.

I'd have to partly agree with the last post - cos lets face it - you have to actually be able to communicate to be able to be mis-led....
