Contd..........

ARGHHHHH This is mad!! Had to delete half the post due to too many characters, and now can't remember which part I am up to....(having a senior moment!!)
So onto the reason for posting.(probably said this already, please forgive if this is the case)
My mother has had a lump sum pension pay out on retirement and is willing to offer a loan with the purpose of a Full and Final settlement. She has offered us 10k but am not sure if this will be enough.I appreciate that I need to discuss this with my IP but would really like to test the water in order to gain some confidence in getting the process started. The funds are there all ready and waiting, but the offer would be withdrawn should the variation take place and the creditors declined the offer.
We have paid 38 x £380,but on 3rd review the IP wants to increase this to £528.I am attempting to get this lowered as this does not reflect my actual spend on fuel per month. If they come back with around £450 (somewhere in the middle)would an offer of 10k be seen as fair? (last part being sent under separate cover, but I will note where I am this time!!)

Hi whitevanman, all you can do is speak to your IP.

I don't know anything about f & f offers but there are plenty of other posters that could give you some guidance. Sit tight and try not to worry too much there will be someone along before the night is out.

Deffinitely worth putting forward. The idea is if possible to offer as close to the original promised dividend as possible. A lot of creditors like to get their money early so give it a shot.

It looks a sound offer and i would definately put it forward,If your IP drafts it up for you and proposes it to creditors then you are nearly there.Good Luck.

Sounds a good offer and as stated the creditors do like to get their money quicker than later. Good luck with the offer and I hope you get it accepted

I've answered this on your other post, but in principle your offer appears to be sensible.

Hi Guys.just an update for you..........

I have spoken to my IP today offering the 10k as a F&F.
She said straight away that the offer seemed fair and would be happy to put it forward to the creditors.
The initial requirements were a copy of my mother's ID (Driving Licence or Passport),together with a letter stating the amount of the offer.I asked how long this would all take and she said approx 2 months inc the notification period to the creditors, which I thought was very reasonable.
I will continue to post as this progresses as I think that it may be useful for others in a similar position,or those thinking of a F&F.
