Well "that" letter has now landed on my doormat too. I make my last payment on 1st August and was hoping that following this, as they have just done a review last month, my case would be passed to closures. It would now appear not. I take it this is to chase possible PPI? The thing is I have never taken this, my employer is civil service and as such I knew I was adequately protected. I know the main thing, is making my last payment. I have been advised to cancel dd couple of days after then give them a ring to make sure its going to closure team, although the lady I spoke to told me the money that had to come in has, she did quick add up for me. I feel bit deflated, when I thought I would be happy [V]

I really feel for you sonj77 and all the other GT customers who are only just getting the EIC letters, especially those who are so close to getting their CC's. Thankfully I have a couple of years plus to go and I did get my EIC letter over 3 months ago. Hopefully I wont be posting in late 2014 with the same issues!! Good luck.

I am feeling left out, we are GT customers and have not received it yet? [:D][:D]
Luckily we still have 32 months to go so they are probably concentrating on the ones due to finish soon.
I am certain at some point it will drop through my letter box I just hope it's not in 31 months time.

I just hope it doesnt delay the closure of our IVA and the receipt of the all important certificate of completion, which I assume arrives under police armed escort with a jazzband walking behind them playing the tune of "Hello, is it me youre looking for"!

Don't hold your breath. I've been waiting almost nine months since my final payment last November and I've just had the letter which no doubt means another nine months waiting for closure which I was originally told wouldn't take more than five months.

C'on Karol ... give us some answers.
It is not acceptable to send letters out without having someone to answer our questions!
Every-time you ring you get told a different thing!

I got original EIC letter last week and nothing else. But now have letter asking for me details from one of my creditors. I saw the bank letter and all the bad feelings came back from when the banks were all chasing me. This is one of the bad ones as well. No indication on the GT letter as to what I am supposed to do. I thought they were dealing with it but no I have the forms to fill in. For various reasons I have no financial details for me older than 4 years the beginning of the IVA so other than my numerous addresses I cannot really answer the letter. I also do not know what the complaint is that I apparently made!!

that is also my biggest worry Joanna. Rightly or wrongly I got rid of all my paperwork for my creditors years ago. It was something, that psychologically, I just needed to do. I, like you, am now feeling that gut churning feeling that I had when I started this in 2006, and its not fair. This nightmare just goes on and on.

I destroyed all the paperwork for my creditors years ago. I just had to get rid of it all. I do not even know account numbers. I can only guess at which companies I owed (owe?) money to.
I have tried to forget them. I really don't need this.
Any advice Karol?

I think we are all on the brink of a meltdown here, any chance someone can pick this up before we go round the bend!!!!

I'm also in the boat of not keeping records beyond the beginning of my IVA - basically because I never used to keep things like that, I'd get a statement, make a payment and then shred it.
If I need to start going to my old creditors for statements it'll cost a fortune as no doubt they'll use it as an excuse to charge £10 a copy or something.
