Hello all,
Not been on here for a while it is nice to see so many people getting near completion or completed who have helped me in the past. Well Done.
My IVA has been going soso over the last 2.5 years but in this last 6 months things have been going haywire.
Big bill from EDF Energy, not able to put the extra £76 into IVA
Wife ends up working full 40hr weeks instead of 26hrs and thinging it would only be temporary IVA wouldn't add it into her main income so having to pay 50% of any remaining after 10% uplift, this has now been going on since February may end in October but not sure.
Large vets bill which we should of asked for a payment break for but have tried to pay it by not using full benefits for other things - big mistake.
Also not sure how we do it but we don't have any uplift money to pay over by the end of the month. We haven't bought anything extravagant but seem to hav eto pay out for my 16 & 13 year old to do things which the 20per month in the IVA just dosen't cover.
Up to now I think I have built up around £500 but am hoping that my big overtime payment due on July 31st may clear this and pay the uplift. (Rather large has they haven't paid it to me for over 10months!)
but if it isn't as large as what I think I may end up having my IVA defaulted which I really don't want.
I have spoken to my IVA people who are evry good, but I think sometimes they can't keep up with my changes and just say things , which seem in benefit of the IVA. Example recent reply just said at teh bottom we await your £400 payment (even though I had told them i didn't have the money).
This is starting to cause me worr and until 3 months ago I was on anti d's for stress and am trying not to go back down that route as I am currently applying for a promotion, which will please the IVA lol.
Any way if anyone else has had similar issues then can you let me know the results.
Besides this hiccup the IVA has always been paid, uplift has been paid when required only these last 6months it has been an issue.
Thanks in advance,
Martyn
