Well as if this year hasn't been bad enough, moneys been really tight every month, barely making it to pay day. Well fantastic, due to be paid today, absoluetly skint, employer pays through Natwest.... jam on toast for the forseable, well if I had any bread that is. Think I'm going to hibernate until the end of my IVA, less than a year to go.

That is so bad Louise - been following it on the news. If you get any charges etc then claim them back!!

I've checked my own banks website, says they are aware of the problems and people who think they'll be affected should pop into the branch for a chat... can't exactly ask them for an overdraft...

Oh dear that's not good Louise. Our wages are not due in until Wednesday so not sure if we will be affected or not x

It's an absolute disgrace and I hope those affected will be compensated.

My wages don't go in till next week but I tried to transfer on-line some money that was in my savings account (need it to get me to pay day!) but I couldn't transfer it. On-line banking wouldn't let me do anything!! Got a nice drive into town now to see if I can get some from the branch.

this morning I said to him, you've not been paid, he said I have, I made him ring his boss as I had no idea about this whole Natwest thing as I was out of it last night (bad back) so didn't feel human until this morning. Even told him his boss was lying when he said it was Natwest...I was proven wrong and apologised profusely!

Pain and Lesley don't mix well.

I hope everyone gets sorted soon. I'm due to be paid on Monday but I think we use Barclays. OH is with Natwest though so I'm reluctant to transfer my share of the bills to him until I know everything's sorted out.

I'm so lucky I wasn't affected financially, but from reading the net I do realise so many have been x

I feel sorry for the people who bank with Think Banking and other prepaid companies or managed banking that piggy back on the RBS Systems they too are affected but cant goto a branch of a Natwest or RBS It seems abit ridiculous to me,
