Will the utilities company not allow you to pay a security deposit if you are up front with them?

Only a handful of utility companies credit score but these do include british gas who I wouldn't touch for other reasons. I think Atlantic and southern electric do not credit score and have good customer service.

Atlantic have been great, especially with the 13 month rebate

I was not even offered that option Paul I checked with them today, the company was first utility, actually after reading their customer satisfaction results i'm glad I'm not going with them now. In the meantime the current utility on the property is N Power rang them today and the csr said N Power dont do credit checks so I will sign up with them, sorted.
