Thought i would ask our IVA company if we could send our wage slips in every three months instead of every two. Just thought it would feel like it would be going quicker doing them just four times a year.

But they said we need to stick to every two months.

Fair enough i suppose, i didnt really think they would agree as i always get the impression that they want you to feel that they make the desisions and i should know my place!!!

Still 19 months in and still going, lots of ups and downs but hanging on in there!

PS: Really enjoyed the Jubilee concert, so nice to see everybody having a great time despite the hardship.

Why not just scan and e-mail them to them on a monthly basis? You will then have peace of mind that the ball is in their court with regard to calculating uplift payments, and that you should therefore never fall into arrears in this regard.

I certainly scan and e-mail mine along with the uplift payment schedule every month, that way I am more or less certain that there are no hidden surprises in store for me at my annual review in a couple of months time.

My IVA company hasnt said anything about e-mailing wage slips across unless we receive a bonus..is that normal?

It varies a lot Vimto. I send payslips every six months for a mid-year review and annual review. There will probably be something in your proposal about how often the need to be submitted, or you could always check with your IP that nothing has been forgotten. x

There's huge variety in this but I believe the minimum is sending payslips once a year to facilitate the annual review. Though I could be wrong.

I send every 3 months and do it via post...maybe I'm a bit out of date x

I also scan my payslips and email them in every month informing them at the same time if any uplift was due and when it was paid. Saves any shock at the review.

I scan mine too. Not least because if they get lost in someone's inbox, I can resend the original email showing the date they were first sent!

Must admit BOL I scan and email everything to do with my IVA correspondence with my IVA Company, not least of all because of that same reason. Gives me a permenant record of when and what I've sent and also replies.

Although I dont doubt the proficiency of my IVA Company, staff changes etc could lead to in/out boxes being cleared and having a permanent "sent" or "reply" record can save a lot of grief later down the line.

I know "hard" copies do the same thing but its just so much easier....and "cheaper" lol.

And it saves the shag of finding a post box!!
