I've recently got married and wondered how this might affect my IVA?

Assuming your other half has no joint debts with you - it should have minimal affect. You will need to inform your I.P as living costs may be reduced as your partner will be contributing to household bills so another I & E will have to be drawn up. Did you live together prior to getting married?.

If you have,no joint debts then make sure,it stays that way otherwise his credit rating may be impacted.

As well as joint debts, avoid setting up joint bank accounts too. Joint savings are fine though as they are not credit checked and don't result in you becoming linked at the CRAs.

We have lived together for two years, I informed my IP when we moved in together. No joint debts and our "joint" account is in my husbands name.

You will be fine then. It will make no difference at all and his credit rating will be unaffected.
