After six long years I am nearing the end of my IVA (June)with Debt Matters and then Grant Thornton, I have sent back the latest Income and Expenditure form, can someone tell me what actually happens

Probably best to let Karol answer that one as GT seem to have a set procedure for closing which seems to take a little time.

Hi Goulda,you should be informed to stop payments after your final payment is made,once your creditors have recieved all dividends etc,then eventually you will recieve a final statement ,and completion certificate.

goulda - We will review your payslips for the last 12 months to understand if any overtime/additional income monies are due. Upon receipt of your final payment your case will progress to closure and this process can take up to 6 months,

our income and expenditure is much the same as the last couple of years, regards PPI we were not sold any
so hopefully it will be a swift conclusion
