As has already been said, you've already taken the hardest step by asking for help.
Ask as many questions as you like on here, myself and the other members will never tire of answering questions from newbies like yourself.
Have a read through the blogs too, thery're a good source of information on how other people have coped in the early stages. There's a link to mine, called 'Our Journey' in my signature, another good one is by MiaK called 'One Day At A Time'.
Good Luck

Which company are you using robson?
It's usually 6 to 8 weeks to get the IVA sorted out unless you have a complicated one.

Hi Robson,
I've no idea about a fast track system I'm afraid. We do have a poster from there on here and hopefully he can pick up on this next week.
I take it they have changed your bank account to Thinkbanking?
If so, you do realise that you can do free banking with any bank as long as it isn't a creditor and these accounts are still free at the moment.

Robson, im with DFD too, everything has happened very quickly for me up to now, i think from my first call to them until now - ive had my pack, signed it and sent it back - has taken a little over 2 weeks. its just a matter of waiting for them to get it back and organise a date for the meeting i think. unless something complicated crops up which i cant see happening. im not the most patient of people and want it right now !!!! lol so far DFD have given me no cause for concern with regard to their service. x
