When I asked about 6 weeks ago they had started closing again and were allocating extra staff to the back log ... but someone else has been told since then, that they stopped (again!). They won't have extra staff, now, to be playing with either!

Because of a VAT issue with HMRC some companies are not closing cases at the moment. Looks as though Tenon are one of them.
All it means is that if you have come to the end of your IVA it might take longer than usual to get your completion letter.

There are some cases that even we cannot close - I won't bore readers with the technicalities, so it is possible that yours may fall into this particular category. Either way it is best to confirm directly with your IP to be sure.

They are still in business at the moment - well, at least until October when Lloyds next decide if they are going to renew their £88m funding facility !!

Anita, I realsie that you have realised that the "closing" we are referring to is the closure of individual cases.
But, it is true that Tenon are going through a financial blip at the moment. I am sure they will sort it out, but, if the worst happened and they went out of business cases would be transferred to another company.
Unfortunately you will have no choice as to who that company might be!
