Hiya Folks,

I've just uploaded a new blog post but have a question...

As those who have read it will know, i'm running in the London Marathon next month. I ran it last year, my first ever marathon having previously been a slob. During my training I kept a blog which ended with an account of marathon day from a first timers point of view.

Mrs DK has suggested that I copy&paste that final account to my blog on here as although its unrelated it is something positive.

I'm not sure though, as it has no connection to anything on this site.

Your feedback, be it positive or negative would be very welcome.

Regards

DK

Go for it DK. The blogs make great reading, but don't have to be ALL about IVA's.

Just read the marathon Marathon blog ... well worth the read -- and, soppy old b that I am. the ending brought tears to my eyes.

DK, I salute YOU ---- for running the marathon and raising the money for charity but also for your sheer, dogged, determination. If you can do that (and you CAN) you can overcome anything the IVA might throw at you.

Thanks for all of your feedback folks.

Foggy, believe it or not... I well up everytime I read it too. I wrote that 2 days after running the marathon and the emotion of the day just comes flooding back.

If anyone ever feels like humanity is going to s**t, make a trip to London to watch the marathon, it really does show that if we all put our minds to it, we CAN work together and support each other.
